Running Into a Burning Building 🔥...
The vast majority of people run out a building that's on fire. But there are a few, special people, who run into that building. One of those special people is Abraham Deng from South Sudan.
In a nation that's been basically in a Civil War since it's inception in 2011, there are few bright spots. They are facing:
✅ Seasonal floods
✅ Ongoing famine
✅ Lack of medical care
✅ No infrastructure
✅ No functioning law enforcement
Just to travel in many parts of South Sudan is to risk your life. Trying to bring Jesus to villages full of Spiritist and Muslims could be the very definition of insanity.
But that is exactly what Abraham is doing.
He is bringing Jesus to a country that is literally burning down around him.
Education
The group of people most affected by the chaos in South Sudan are the children. Along with lack of food and medical care, over 60% of South Sudanese children have no access to ANY educational opportunities.
Entire regions of the country are void of any kind educational facilities -NONE! And without education, there is basically no way out of their extreme poverty.
Enter - Abraham and Hope Encounter
Abraham Deng and a small group of South Sudanese visionaries decided they are not going to just watch the future of South Sudan disappear before their eyes.
So they asked God what to do and He gave them this vision:
Plant one Christian school and church in every village in South Sudan.
This will mean planting thousands of schools and churches!

2️⃣ For four months we have been working with Hope Encounter, coaching them in marketing and branding, building and launching their Blog Page (here), and training them in communications so the world can SEE what they are doing.
Missions like Hope Encounter are why we exists! They are doing amazing things that no one knows about.
And that is our mission - helping the invisible missions of the world, like Hope Encounter, become visible so we can all join in the work of sharing the Good News of Christ with those in the greatest need.
And that's a GOOD thing!
