Seeing the Invisible...
How do you see the invisible? The simple answer is, you can’t—unless someone helps make it visible.
Today, tens of thousands of missionaries doing incredible work all over the world, every day, are basically invisible.
In an age where online interaction is exploding, missionaries are getting lost in the noise.
In a world where we can pick our friends, entertainment, and news just by clicking a button, our culture is choosing missionaries less and less.
Why visibility matters
This lack of visibility is making it harder and harder for missionaries to build the support and thus carry out the work needed to share the Great Commission.
In the end, fewer people are hearing about Jesus.
How We Make Missionaries Visible
Our mission at One Village Group is to make the invisible missionary visible.
More than just helping missionaries get out the door —we provide the training and resources they need to connect, engage, and remain effective once out in the world.
Some tools we use:
- Multimedia Engagement: We teach missionaries how to engage with social media, messaging, videos, blogs, and more in order to connect with people the way people are now connecting. The "Newsletter" still has its place, but so do new digital connection tools.
- Considering the Perspective of Supporters: We teach missionaries best practices in how to build meaningful relationships with their supporters.
- Technology & Tools: We provide training and technology coaching that allows missionaries to meet people where they are today (online), not where they used to be.
- Ongoing Coaching: We help missionaries use all of these tools in strategic ways that build better relationships with you and I – the Senders.
Thanks to your prayers, encouragement, and financial support, One Village has already trained missionaries working in Hungary, Chile, Spain, Kenya, Mexico, Rwanda, Japan, Albania, as well multiple missionaries serving right here in America.
God has been faithful!
When missionaries become visible, the potential to share more Jesus with more people is unlocked - and that's a good thing!
