Would the Apostle Paul Use Facebook?

Who could have imagined?
From a handful of men walking countless miles sharing the Gospel, to our ability now to reach millions in seconds with a single click!
Welcome to modern missions!
For the Sake of the Gospel
What would the Apostle Paul think of all these changes?
Since Paul's mission was to win souls by any means possible, we at One Village Group, believe he would be thrilled.
"I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some." (1 Cor 9:22)
Would Paul be blogging to the Church at Laodicea, tweeting to the Saints in Antioch, and Facebook messaging the Seven Churches of Asia Minor at 3 a.m.?
Absolutely!
Missions History: Walking to Wireless
Early missionaries relied on their feet, voices, and writing on parchment (animal skins) as their tools for sharing the Gospel.
Then, in the 1300's, came the printing press, allowing mass distribution of Scripture, tracts, and commentaries.
By the 1940s, Radio had erased borders, allowing the Gospel to be shared even in closed countries.
In the 1950's air travel became affordable to the average person and ushered in the age of short-term mission trips.
In the 1960's television brought global missions into our living rooms.
In the 1990's the internet made the Gospel instantly accessible to anyone with a smartphone in their pocket!
In 2030...???
The Challenge

But just having an amazing message doesn't guarantee you will be heard.
Today, digital noise is drowning out our missionaries - making them almost Invisible!
Without the proper tools and training, many of our missionaries are becoming as isolated as missionaries in Paul's time.
Our Mission
That’s why One Village Group exists - to make sure our missionaries are Visible to the world!
We are training the next generation of missionaries in modern communications skills and giving them the tools they need to meet the world of today where the world of today is - online!
The message of Jesus remains unchanged, but our methods must evolve.
Let’s use every tool God has given us to ensure the Gospel reaches every tribe and tongue!
Let us "...run this race to win." (1 Corinthians 9:24)
